As the temperatures rise, cool off with a slice of cold Louisiana watermelon! Take a drive to DeRidder for the Beauregard Watermelon Festival to get your fill of locally grown watermelons that are perfectly sweet and refreshing. Enjoy live music, shop our vendor booths and visit the Jackpot Livestock Show.  Have you gotten trouble for spitting?  Put that under-appreciated skill to good use at the Seed Spitting and Eating Contest. And that’s just the beginning of all the fun folks have at this festival each year.
